For Housing Providers
Existing Housing Providers Seeking Residents
If you already operate independent housing and have capacity to fill, this pathway runs the other direction. We welcome conversations with established providers about the residents you are suited to serve and how a partnership could work.
The housing challenge
Why providers get caught mid-referral
A provider with rooms to fill is not always ready to receive referrals, and the gaps tend to surface mid-referral — when a referring agency has already told someone housing is likely. Documenting your process before you accept referrals protects both the resident and your relationship with the referring team.

Our process for your setting
Four steps, and what each one produces.
This is the same sequence we use with every partner — the questions change, the structure does not.
- 1
Understand local housing needs
We learn your operation, market and the residents who fit your model.
- 2
Document requirements
Your house rules, screening process and what must be confirmed before acceptance.
- 3
Develop suitable arrangements
Properties, terms and responsibilities worked through against the documented requirements.
- 4
Coordinate documented next steps
A named owner, a next action and a due date on the record — followed up rather than assumed.
Practical checklist
Five things to prepare.
Work these through internally first. If you bring them to a first call, the conversation gets twice as far.
- 01Write down your resident profile, house rules and screening process
- 02Document what you need confirmed before accepting a resident
- 03Separate your referral and acceptance decisions on paper
- 04Prepare what to tell a referring agency about your process
- 05Identify where a referring agency or resident should raise a concern
What we will ask
About your operation
- Counties where you operate and the formats you offer
- The resident profile that fits your properties well
- Your requirements, house rules and screening process
- Current and expected capacity
- What you need confirmed before accepting a resident
- Documentation and agreements your process requires
- How resident choice and acceptance are handled on your side
Independent, nonmedical housing
This housing model does not include personal care, clinical treatment, medication management or supervision. Outside supports are arranged independently where appropriate. Accommodation requests receive individualized review — we do not apply blanket exclusions based on disability or the use of assistive devices.
Outside supports
What stays with your operation.
Existing providers keep their own operating model, licensing where applicable, and resident agreements. We do not take over your operation or make your admission decisions, and we make no representation about your licensing status.

Housing Provider Referral ReadinessQuestions
Answers for your setting.
If your question is not here, ask it directly. We answer approved public information and route everything else to the person who can.
Ask a questionDo you guarantee referrals or occupancy?
No. We do not guarantee referrals, occupancy, rent or any volume of placements. What we can do is understand your model well enough to route appropriately, and be honest when we do not have a fit.
Do you take over our operation?
No. Existing providers keep their own operating model, licensing where applicable, and resident agreements. We do not make your admission decisions, and we make no representation about your licensing status.
How does a referral reach us?
Through the same documented pipeline as every other inquiry: assigned to a named owner with a backup, a reference number, and a next action with a due date. You will know who is handling it.
What we do not guarantee
We do not guarantee beds, funding, referrals, occupancy, placement or discharge outcomes. A referral does not guarantee acceptance, and acceptance does not confirm funding. What we do commit to is a documented process, a named owner on your inquiry and an honest answer — including when the answer is that we are not the right fit.
Other pathways
More ways providers work with us.
Where a case sits between two pathways, pick the closest and note the other in your inquiry. We will route it either way.
Tell us about your operation.
If you have capacity to fill and a housing mission, we would like to understand your model and where it fits.
